About

I was born in the Territory of Alaska three years before the United States adopted Alaska as the 49th state. I spent twenty-eight years living and exploring the state: from my home in Anchorage, to the Denali area, the northern coast, east to the Canadian border, west to the Aleutian Islands as far as Adak, and south to Kodiak Island and the southeastern panhandle. An avid outdoorsman and photographer, I enjoys all things Alaska. Now I reside in Las Vegas, Nevada, within easy reach of all the western states and their natural wonders. The beauty of America inspires me to create.

EDLARA LLC

My first talent is Photography. My love for it began at age 13 when I got my first camera for Christmas–a Kodak Instamatic. I've been photographing ever since and find art and photography can be one and the same. Graphic art came next. I pursued art lessons at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN). Then came Photoshop, the most accepted photo imaging repair and graphic art design tool in the world. I've been using it since 1998 for everything from fixing old and new photos, to creating original graphic art, to designing business flyers, cards and posters. Currently, I'm also writing short stories, and have four in print. With actress and professional narrator, Lara K Crawford, we turn the books into audiobooks, which are recorded, edited and engineered in our recording studio. With Photoshop, I can create my own book covers. Our passion is creating works of visual, audio, literary and performing art creations; from conception to finish. Our company, EDLARA LLC incorporates art, photography, graphic design, authoring/editing, narration and audio engineering.
